Nowadays Ukrainian market of grain is a highly competitive sphere, where almost all international companies, specialized in agricultural product trading, are presented. Many foreign companies have been working at the Ukrainian market for about 10 years. There are also strong Ukrainian companies at the market. Altogether the main rules have already been established and have not been changed for the last few years.

Ukraine is an apparent and meaningful country-exporter of cereal and oil-bearing crops. Especially, it is one of basic barley exporters in the world, more than 80% of which is exported to Middle East. Currently Japan is among the «exotic» buyers of the Ukrainian barley.

Grain is exported to more than 50 countries, namely, Spain, countries of North Africa (Egypt and Tunis), Middle East (Israel, Syria). Thus it should be noted that during the last two seasons Ukraine opened up new distribution areas of grain, such as countries of Southeast Asia — South Korea, Bangladesh, Philippines.

Geography of Ukrainian corn export repeats its directions of grain export. Similar to the wheat market, for the last two seasons Ukraine opened market of Southeast Asia — South Korea and Japan. Year by year Ukrainian corn becomes more and more "recognizable" product, at the same time domestic exporters strengthen their positions while working at upgrading of produce quality.

Development of biodiesel industry in the world promoted interest to rape, and Ukraine managed to deservingly react on increased demand, soon becoming one of the basic rapeseed producers and exporters in the world. Key export direction of Ukrainian rapeseeds is the countries of EU, particularly Poland, Holland, France, Belgium and others. Large rapeseeds shipments are also made to Turkey and UAE.

Top 10 cereal-traders

According to the best-selling crops ad partem- ??? ( wheat, barley and cor), top 10 places belong to the same companies indeed. The difference is only in positions. But the first-ever place is taken by «Nibulon». Nobody can overcome it, on none of cultures. «Louis Dreyfus», «Serna» and «Kernel Trade» are at the back of the pack, and positions of these companies depend on the exported product.

Top 10 of oil crop traders

Company, which exports the largest capacity of rapeseeds, gains top export — rapeseeds, sunflower and soy. General TOP-10 list and list of rapeseeds exporters is combined of the same traders. Foreign companies play first fiddle in this sector, but «Nibulon», due to 25 thousand of sunflower seeds, rose to the same level, comparing to the exporters rating of rapeseeds became on general position #6. Compared to «cereal-growers», in the list of TOP-10 exporters of oil-bearing cultures new representatives appeared: domestic companies «Eridon», «Rise», «Myronivsky Hliboproduct».
