International trade

Alongside with supplying the internal/domestic market with food, the agrarian sector of Ukraine is increasing its foreign market presence.

If compared with the year of 2009 the foreign trade turnover of agricultural products grew by

9.0 % in 2010, export volumes - by 4.7 %, import - by 17.0 %. Export share in the total volume of foreign trade turnover remains substantial and amounts to 19.9 per cent.

Grain, sunflower seeds and oil and fat products prevail in the export structure.
